Eligibility
- The individual is eligible, as a member as the person insured, if applicable, must :
- Be a canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada
- To be covered by a government health insurance plan and hospitalization (federal or provincial) of Canada
- Be used salarier of a company, self-employed or a business owner whose work location is in Canada
- Be active at work on a permanent basis for at least 20 hours per week
- Currently, and on a regular basis, do not receive an allowance, a benefit, a pension, an income replacement disability or a provision of a government program, federal or provincial, or may not have been the subject of a settlement by lump-sum payment from a disability insurance from a private insurer or a public body.
- Must be purchased in 31 days of membership
- Be under the age of seventy (70) years for members and spouses; as soon as the birth for dependent children
- Dependent child :
- Child under 21 years of age or the age of 26, and attending a full-time post-secondary education facility or
- Child with a mental or physical disability, serious nature, incurable and chronic, regardless of age, as long as he lives in the home of the member or of the spouse
Important features

- No evidence of insurability: for an amount of $ 35,000 and less (in increments of $ 5,000, minimum 10 000 $) for the member, 10 000 $ for his / her spouse and 25 000 $ and less (in increments of $ 5,000, a minimum of $ 5,000) for the dependent children.
Exclusions :
- No benefit will be payable if, within ninety (90) days following the entry into force of the insurance, a diagnosis of cancer is installed or the person has presented signs or symptoms of cancer or has been subjected to investigations leading to the Diagnosis of cancer (covered or not covered under this policy) without regard to the date of Diagnosis.
- No benefit will be payable if, within ninety (90) days following the entry into force of the insurance, a diagnosis of benign brain Tumour is installed or the person has presented signs or symptoms of cancer or has been subjected to investigations leading to the diagnosis of benign brain Tumour without regard to the date of Diagnosis.
- Premiums are increasing by stages of 5 years until the age of 65 years. For the members of 66 to 69 years, the award varies annually. The rate may also vary for the 1er January of each year based on the experience of the plan
- Minimum duration of survival of 14 days
- End of insurance no later than when the person reaches the age of 70 years old
- Service in the case of recurrence of cancer[1] o The Insurer will pay the sum insured if the insured Member or Spouse insured person receives a Diagnosis of Cancer so that it has already received more than sixty (60) months previously, and provided that no treatment directly or indirectly linked to cancer has not been received within sixty (60) months. For these purposes, the drugs used for the prevention and follow-up meetings to the doctor are not considered as treatments. The second of these Diagnostics must be received while the insurance of the person is in force.
Exclusions the contract :
- Driving a motor vehicle with a blood
